Lyndsey Williams trained at Bush-Davies Theatre
School, one of the top vocational schools, where
she studied dance, drama, and singing. She gained
all major examinations in RAD ballet and ISTD
ballet, tap, modern and national dancing and
has become a Licentiate of the ISTD.
She went on to work professionally in theatre,
film and television. Many of her credits include
appearing on the West End stage in several
musicals, ‘Promises, Promises’ at
the Prince of Wales, ‘Troubadour’ at
the Cambridge, ‘Applause’ at Her
Majesty's and as ‘Graziella’ in ‘West
Side Story’ at the Shaftsbury Theatre.
She has gained extensive experience from working
with some of the best choreographers: Michael
Bennett, Bob Fosse, Paddy Stone, Norman Maen
and Gillian Lynne.
Lyndsey was Principal Dancer at the famous
Talk of the Town, the top London cabaret venue
where many international stars appeared. Her
film and television credits include a Royal
Variety Performance at The London Palladium, ‘The
Old Curiosity Shop’ starring Anthony
Newley & David Hemings and ‘The Prince
and the Pauper’ starring Charlton Heston,
a BBC Pantomime, ‘Danger UXB’ as
well as TV shows throughout Europe.
She successfully combined performing with
modelling, appearing in fashion shows for Frank
Usher, Zandra Rhodes, Debenhams, Head, Courtaulds,
Du Pont, Pronuptia and fashion houses in France
and Germany. |
